Images Of The 3 Shipwrecks:
Wreck of the Cali
This is the first shipwreck that we snorkel at.
Located near the George Town harbor in Grand Cayman.
This freighter sunk in 1948 during a storm; it is now a great snorkel spot.
Wreck of the Gamma
This is the second shipwreck that we visit during our tour.
This was a steel freighter that sunk off of Seven Mile Beach in 1980 during a Norwester storm.
This wreck is in shallow waters (5 to 10 feet deep), allowing for great easy snorkeling.
USS Kittiwake
This is the third shipwreck that we visit on our tour.
This is an ex-US submarine rescue ship that was launched in 1945, and then decommissioned in 1994.
It was purposely sunk off of Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman in 2011 to create a new dive/snorkel spot.
